Darts: World champ beaten by mum-to-be!
WORLD darts champion Ted ^The Count^ Hankey has met his match – a 20-year-old Bulwell Hall Estate mum-to-be!
Kayleigh Logan, of Longford Crescent, was one of 16 challengers to Hankey when he made a guest appearance at the Newstead Abbey pub on St Albans Road, Bulwell.
And although Kayleigh was given a 200-point start, she won the 701-up encounter on merit!
Kayleigh pegged a stunning 140 on her first visit to the board and went on to produce a cool-as-a-cucumber 72 finish.
Asked what it was like to beat the world^s best player, she replied: "Great!"
Kayleigh is expecting a baby in just a week-and-a-half. Sporting in his acceptance of defeat, Hankey told her: "I was playing against two!"
The ^Abbey^ was packed for Hankey^s visit, which was arranged before he became world champion by winning the Lakeside event, run by the British Darts Organisation, in Surrey three weeks ago.
