Over the course of his astonishing career Peter ‘Snakebite’ Wright has cemented himself as one of darts’ all-time greats. His ever-increasing list of titles, including two PDC World Championships and his iconic personality, have made him one of the most popular players the sport has ever seen.

One thing that stands out about Peter (other than his bright outfits and mohawk hair!) is his tendency to switch his darts. During Peter’s time with Red Dragon, it is safe to say he has tried hundreds of different sets of darts, some more successful than others, such as his DOUBLE WORLD CHAMPION SE GOLD PLUS which took him to his second World Championship in January 2022 & his maiden World Matchplay the previous summer.

Snakebite’s story is one that many darts players will be able to relate to. For the vast majority of Peter’s career, he has been the ‘nearly man’ and was unable to get over the winning line, most famously when he missed 7 match darts to beat Michael van Gerwen in the Premier League Final.

But in true Snakebite fashion, Peter did not let these disappointments deter him and is now one of the sport’s most decorated competitors and one of the few to reach the rank of World Number 1!
