A final reminder that the Winmau Darts Centre in the Wolverhampton Indoor Community Sports Stadium, Racecourse Road, Wolverhampton, WV6 0QU will be staging their fourth Winmau BDO Wolverhampton Open on the 20th August which will carry a top prize fund of £3,000 plus the eventual winner will be entered into the 2016 Winmau World Masters and the 2017 Lakeside playoffs.

---------------------------------
At the time of going to print the Winmau Centre’s Thursday Night Champions League is up to week nineteen and in that week there were mixed fortunes for leader Kevin Harris as after a 6-1 win over Mark Bayliss he went down 4-3 to fourth in the table Robert Pierce, however he remains in pole position on 101 points from 19 games.
Second in the table Louis Burley took a notable scalp the previous week when he beat defending champion Mick Baker 5-2 and in his latest fixture his 7-0 success against Martin East has taken his points tally to 92 just nine short of Harris but with three games in hand, three games that could in theory net him 21 points.
Mick Baker is currently third with 82 points from 16 games his latest encounter saw him beat Craig Capewell 7-0, however Mick is now ten points behind Burley and having played the same number of games and despite having the same three games in hand on Harris is nineteen points off the top.
---------------------------------
Just five points separate the top four teams in the centre’s Monday Night League a 25-23 win over The Untouchables has seen reigning champions 3 Yam Yams and A.Stokie (formerly What Are Thooose) hold on to pole position with a total of 447 points. What’s The Point have moved up two places to second following their massive 42-6 win over Keep It In The Family and with 446 points are one behind 3 Yam Yams and one ahead of Is It In who had a 38-10 win over Full Montie.
Making up the top four is The Outcasts who again were 38-10 winners in their tie with Where’s My Team to give them 442 points just five shy of the leaders.
With a massive 64 points gap between the top four and fifth placed The Untouchables its almost certain one of the top four will win the title but it’s far too close to call at this stage, it could be any one of the four.
