A huge performance by both players David Thedartknight Copleyand Carl Moorhouse with Dave winning the final of the Barnsley Grand Prix and in a field that included Brian Dawson,Wayne Pepper among other big names it was quite a performance.
10yo Charlie Stocks,10yo Liam Foster,13yo Owen Cubitt and 11yo Beau Greaves are quickly making huge strides in darts as Beau has picked up the English matchplay and English Grand prix from the BDO and has been drafted into the senior side for Yorkshire and has also qualified for the Cosmo World Series later this month being the only female to make the line up.10yo Charlie Stocks is another doing the same recently being given a full county cap for the seniors and going the right way knocking in a 90+ average at the age of just 10 in a recent superleague game and has already made the semi finals of a major competition for the mens game.Liam Fosters again at just 10yo has also been making strides quick with performance that any professional would be proud of winning through to the last 8 of the nationwide Project youth championship and Young Owen Cubit at the vetran age of 13yo already a record breaker has now become the first under 18 player to ever qualify for the national Redtooth darts finals recently winning the locals and then the regionals in Leicester all under the projectdarts banner these will hopefully become the future of the game but are proving to be the future right now.
