International Stars Flock to Denmark for the Winmau Supported Denmark Open and Denmark Masters

The starting line-up for this year’s Denmark Open and Denmark Masters includes a host of household names. These high profile tournaments have just been upgraded to a BDO category B, and that seems to have made the interest among the top players simply explode, says Jesper Thorne, who is responsible for the communication of the Danish Darts Organisation.

"We are seeing an amazing number of great darts celebrities flock to Denmark with top players such as Belgian Geert de Vos, Jan Dekker, Remco van Eijden and Jimmy Hendricks as well as numerous English players with Ted Hankey, Garry Thompson and Martin Atkins among many others. The Ladies line-up is equally impressive with Sharon Prins from Holland, Rachel Brooks from England, our own bronze medallist from the recent world championship, Ann-Louise Peters and Deta Hedman”.

There’s still a few days left to sign up, so the participation numbers are sure to grow further.

The Denmark Open takes place on 3rd May with the Denmark Masters on 4th May. Both are hosted by the Esbjerg Conference Hotel, Stormgade 200, DK 6700, Esbjerg and will be played exclusively on Winmau Blade dartboards.
