The story continues at the top of the Forest of Arden Winter League with all top four teams maintaining their winning record. Highwood Arrows, with an 8-1 home win over Sheldon Heath Flights are in pole position, their average superior to the chasing pack of Highwood, who beat Old Bill and Bull 7-2, Stechford Social, with a 7-2 scoreline accounted for Farringdon Social and Glades, who had a 6-3 win against Hobs Meadow Mixes. A 180 from Wayne Mathews (Hobs Meadow) helped his side to an 8-1 victory over the Harvester, whose Paul Franks chalked up the league’s highest finish so far 148.
