Tracey helps Herts darts team to title

Tracey Banks helped the Hertfordshire darts team to victory in the Great Britain Ladies’ Darts Championship, held in Northamptonshire.
Tracey, 40, whose father Tom is landlord at The Gate pub in Sawbridgeworth, played superbly as the team caused a shock by beating favourites (winners for the past three years) Lancashire 3-2 in the semi-final.

They defeated Warwickshire 3-2 in the final at Daventry.

It was the first time that the Hertfordshire team has won the Great Britain Championship.

They beat Gloucestershire 5-0 in the first round.
It was Tracey’s last game for Herts. She has since retired.
