Top Class Darts Returns to North Wales

Some of the world’s top darts players will be on show in Colwyn Bay in 2014 as the North Wales Masters returns for its second staging.

Four top professionals will compete at Colwyn Bay Leisure Centre on Friday 4 April, following the success of the inaugural event last June.

Australian ace Simon Whitlock returns to North Wales and will be joined by Dutch sensation Michael van Gerwen, the current Premier League Champion.

Also on show are Scottish number one Robert Thornton and Welsh favourite Mark Webster, the former World Champion, as the stars of four nations prepare to do battle.

Local fans may get the once-in-a-life-time chance to take on the professionals before the players collide in a four way tournament worthy of gracing any TV major.

And world number four Whitlock says he is delighted to be heading back to Wales.

"I’m really looking forward to returning to this event,” said ‘The Wizard’.

"The crowd were fantastic last time and it’s great to be part of what is arguably an even stronger line-up.

"All four of us have Premier League experience and have gone deep into World Championship tournaments so the fans can expect a brilliant standard.

"It would be great to see everyone back from the first event and some new fans too. I know they love their darts in the area and I promise we will put on a great show.”

Tickets for the North Wales Masters are available now. Call 08450 180 180 or book online at www.dartshop.tv as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Tickets can also be purchased directly from reception at Colwyn Bay Leisure Centre (01492 577 900).

A VIP ticket option is available for fans that wish to enjoy the best seats and the house and a VIP meet and greet reception with all four players.
