Projectdarts - The Dark Knight swoops in to take the spoils
Prelims
Tom Briggs and Paul Beck looked a cracker and it did not let us down as Tom Briggs ran out a 3-1 victor over Paul and another good game was Yorkshire starlet and PDC pro Julie White and Trevor Burkhill and she pushed him all the way but went down 3-2.Darren Johson had a tricky tie but came through it unscathed 3-0 and Bob pinder also did the same and Taylor Greaves showed us how good he is winning 3-2 in a tight game against a quality opponent
DEE CONOLY 3-0 MARK MCCAN
TOM WILLIAMS 3-0 KARL SALISBURY-ROPER
TAYLOR GREAVES 3-2 STEVEN WRAGG
DAZ JOHNSON 3-0 KENNY HOULT
TONY DARLOW 3-0 CHRIS KEANE
TREVOR BURKHILL 3-2 JULIE WHITE
TOM BRIGGS 3-1 PAUL BECK
BOB PINDER 3-1 ANDY ELSE
MICK ROPER 3-0 ARMIN AGUSTIN

Super daff enjoyed his 1st darts masters with a fine victory over John Cartledge 3-2 and the same happened as Ian Cook edged past Lest Bowers beating big red 3-2.Owen Cubi at just 12yo enjoyed his victory over Rich Aldiston 3-1 and the same for 10yo Beau Greaves as she went through 3-0 over J Ripley as did her older brother winning 3-0.Dave Copley and Brian Lewis clashed for an all PDC game and it was the dark knight going through 3-2.Darren Johnson got by Tony Darlow 3-2 with both players in fine form Nick White and Simon Birkett did enough to make the last 16 as both players performed well
RYAN GOFFIN 3-1 GEOFF BURROWS
SIMON BIRKETT 3-0 LINDSY SALISBURY-ROPER
RICH BECK 3-0 DARREN BLUER
NICK WHITE 3-0 DEE CONOLY

LAST 16
Cookie and super daff squared off too a tremendous game as they both hit some low legs but it was Ian Cook going through to the last 8 3-2 and was joined by Dave Copley with a smooth 3-0 win over Pat Meeson.Simon Birkett was a comfy 3-0 winner over Ryan Goffin and darren Johnson and Trevor Burkhill set up a blistering last 8 match as they both got through dropping one leg between em and Nick White and Rich Beck played out a pearl of a game with a 3-2 win too wipeout but the big news from this round was the youngsters as Owen cubit at just 12yo caused a big shock as he beat Billy wragg 3-1 to make the last 8 and wondergirl Beau greaves at just 10yo amazed us all as she went through to the last 8 with a brilliant 3-1 win over Johnnie edwards.
BEAU GREAVES 3-1 JOHNNIE EDWARDS
OWEN CUBIT 3-1 BILLY WRAGG
DAVE COPLEY 3-0 PAT MEESON
IAN COOK 3-2 PETE DAFFIN
TREVOR BURKHILL 3-1 BOB PINDER
DARREN JOHNSON 3-2 TAYLOR GREAVES
NICK WHITE 3-2 RICH BECK
SIMON BIRKETT 3-0 RYAN GOFFIN
LAST 8
Trevor Burkhill put in arguably the best performance of the afternoon to beat Darren Johnson in a 3-0 win and Nick White hitting another maximum for the day but went down 3- against Simon Birkett.it was a tall order for the two youngest players in the in the comp but to get to the last 8 of such a hard competition is breathtaking but the youngsters went down 3-0 to Ian Cook and Dave Copley
DAVE COPLEY 3-0 BEAU GREAVES
IAN COOK 3-0 OWEN CUBIT
TREVOR BURKHILL 3-0 DARREN JOHNSON
SIMON BIRKETT 3-2 NICK WHITE
both semis went all the way as every leg went against the arrows as cookie and the dark knight shared the first four legs but then with the arrows Dave Copley put in a 14 dart leg to book his final spot and the same score inflicted the other semi as Simon Birkett edged past Trevor Burkhill 3-2 with both men having darts to make the final before budha nailed the win
SIMON BIRKETT 3-2 TREVOR BURKHILL
DAVE COPLEY 3-2 IAN COOK
FINAL
The final was a high scoring game with lots of trebles hit but a slip by Simon letting in Dave to win the 3rd leg was enough to give him the chance and it was the Dark knight netting his 5th Projectdarts tournament of the year and his 1st Sheffield darts masters
DAVE COPLEY 3-1 SIMON BIRKETT
Bonus Points
The masters plate was won by Brian Lewis beating Steven Wragg in the final and the highest C/O for the afternoon fell to John Cartledge and lowest leg to Dave Copley with Nick white leading the way with 180^s and Beau Greaves picking up the extra Points for best lady on the day.
With three to go it is very close at the break off point as at the moment it is 27 points but with some high profile players just below that line and plenty of points on offer it still antibody^s comp
