Porters Lodge Summer IDL 2010 - Finals Night Review

It was a case of fourth time lucky for Rob Madigan as he finally got his name on the Grand Final trophy, in an epic 15-12 victory over Neil French despite trailing early on in the match thanks to some superb finishing by "the Frog."
Steve Cooper regained the Turner Trophy after a 5-1 victory over the spirited Phil Treeby, while former Turner Trophy holder Christian Holcombe claimed the Mills Cup despite both his opponents, Paul Butler and Ian Whitmore having darts at double to beat him in the one leg format.
Frank Daly completed his perfect end to the season in another epic, taking his place in the Premier Division at the expense of Nick Sheldrick in a 7-5 victory.
Everyone in attendance fully enjoyed the evening, with the big screen, walk on girls, audio and large scoreboard adding to the big event feel and making it a great spectacle for people to watch.

Ian and his family have asked me to express their deep gratitude for everyone^s generosity. If anyone who did not attend would like to make a contribution, please speak to Rob behind the bar.
