PDC CONFIRM MADISON SQUARE GARDEN RETURN IN 2024

The World Series of Darts will return to The Theater at Madison Square Garden in 2024, following the huge success of this year's second visit to the iconic New York venue.

Madison Square Garden first hosted the world's top players in 2022, with the US Darts Masters and North American Championship taking place across two action-packed days.

This week's return saw Jeff Smith crowned as North American Champion before Michael van Gerwen secured US Darts Masters glory on Saturday night, whitewashing Smith in the final in front of a bumper crowd of over 3,500 fans.

Following the success of the 2023 tournaments, which featured increased ticket sales and media interest in New York, it has been confirmed that The Theater at Madison Square Garden will host the events again on June 7-8 2024.

"Our second visit to Madison Square Garden has been a big success and it's been encouraging to see the year-on-year growth of the US Darts Masters and North American Championship," said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.

"Darts in North America is in a great place at the moment, and tournaments like we've held this week will only help to grow the sport further.

"The response of fans at Madison Square Garden has been brilliant and we're excited to be returning in 2024."

Fans can register now for ticket updates and a priority ticket sales window for the 2024 events through http://bit.ly/2024NY.
