Paul Hogan makes it a double as he wins his second Red Dragon Darts Bucks Easter Open Darts title.

A quality field attended attended the day, competing for the title coming from various counties across the country, including Bucks,Berks,Herts,London, Surrey, Hampshire, Wiltshire and West Midlands just to name a few.

The standard as expected was very high all day, last years winner Gary Eastwood made it through to the Semi-Final before falling to Berkshire^s county player Paul Hogan.

There was also a first appearance for World Ranked 54, PDC player Dennis Smith who made it through to the last 16, before coming up against an inform Paul Hogan (picture attached).

Another fancied player was Canadian International Ken MacNeil, but he fell in the Semi Final to Bucks^s Tim Martin (picture attached) 4-2.

After several hours of play the Quarter Finals line up was decided:

Final
Paul Hogan (Berks) Beat Tim Martin 5-2
The Final was an epic with both players on top form that included 4 x 180s and Hogan producing two outshots of quality 140 and 146 to take a deserved title 5-2, against an unlucky Tim Martin.

It was Hogan^s second win of the Red Dragon Bucks Easter Darts Open having previously won the event in 2008.

The Ladies competition was won by Bucks county player Suzanne Smith who beat Lynette McCahey in the Final.

Suzanne made it a good day as she also won the highest outshot with a 148 outshot, sponsored by JN Darts.

Andy Long (Organiser) in his presentation gave thanks to Red Dragon Darts for there sponsorship, Hazlemere Community Centre, his Wife Sue Long and Paul Tubb for their help and support on the day.
