Nathan Derry wins Red Dragon Darts Bucks Easter Darts Open 2016
A great attendance and a quality field attended the day, competing for the title coming from various counties across the country, including Bucks, Berks, Oxfordshire, London, Surrey, Hampshire and Norfolk just to name a few.
The standard as expected was very high all day, the last 3 years winner and England international Paul Hogan made it it through to the last 16, where he overcame Mark Burns, there were also wins for local player Jon Woodbridge, Martin Lukeman, Dickie Gregory, Luke Humphries, Luke Bigland, Nathan Derry and Paul Milligan.
The match of the quarter finals saw Jon Woodbridge (Bucks) edged out by Middlesex^s Martin Lukeman in a quality match,other winners were PDC Youth player Luke Humphries, impressive Nathan Derry and Paul Milligan.
Both Semi Finals were outstanding as, the Hogan Derry semi looked the pick of the games but Derry was in outstanding form to take the match 4-0, in the other Semi Final Martin Lukeman got the better of Luke Humphries.
The Final saw a high quality match with both players in fine form, it was Derry^s impressive finishing that got him over the line to take the title and prize money.

The Ladies competition was won by local darts player Sarah Mallott who beat Bucks county player Nicolle Bidgway in the Final, losing semi finalists were Nicky Priest and Vicky McCahey
Highest outshot went to Jason Hine with a 160.
