Harty Performance Out Runs Reece at The Greyhound
YDP^s Neil Hart won Stage 6 of The Yorkshire Masters Darts Open held at The Greyhound Pub in Bridlington. The event organised in Association with Sreamline Taxis of York and Red Dragon Darts was the sixth of eight qualifying stages, with The Grand Finals being held at Huntington WMC in York on Saturday 26th January 2013. in the event but came to life as he defeated Steve Brooke (Hornsea) 3-0 with 18-110 finish for 15 and 21 dart legs in the semi-finals before taking on Hulls PDC player Reece Robinson in the Final. Hart took the first leg in 16 which was cancelled out by Robinson^s 17. The third leg saw Hart regain the lead with 180 for 17 darts then scores of 83-140-121 seemed to deflate Robinson to give Hart the fourth leg and a 3-1 win. Reece & 16 darts beat Roy Lilleyman (Castleford) 3-1 in the other semi-final.
The other qualifiers for the Grand Finals are Tim Davison (Bridlington), Kevin Samuels (Hunmanby), Rick Harper (Harrogate) and Dean Thorpe (Cranswick).
Lilleyman hit the highest checkout of the day 127 whilst furter 180^s were scored by Hart (2), Gavin Boynton, Liam Maddison and Brooke.
Hart also joined forces with his sem-final opponent Brooke to win the Blind Pairs Event defeating Kev Samuels & Wayne Campbell (Harrrogate) in the Final. Beaten semi-finalists were Phil Good & Chris Baker (both York) and Denise Fowler (York) & Rich Heathcote.
Stage 7 is at Townville Recreation & Social Club, Castleford WF10 3QF with the last qualifying stage being held at East Leeds Snooker, Leeds LS15 8AW.
