Darts: Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts - Thursday 19th March 2009

THE world^s best darts players will return to the south coast next year, with the Brighton Centre hosting the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts on Thursday March 19.

The Brighton Centre has hosted sell-out nights of the Sky Sports-televised tournament since 2007, and will host the seventh league night of next year^s £400,000 event.

"The Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts has grown to become the biggest indoor sporting event in the UK over the past four years," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn."Its development into a major arena spectacle has been nothing short of sensational - it^s the ticket every sports fan in the UK wants! "The Brighton Centre has been an extremely popular venue and hosted the play-offs in 2007, and we^re delighted to be returning."

The tournament will begin on February 5 in Liverpool and also includes visits to Belfast, Glasgow, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Exeter before the play-offs in May at the Wembley Arena.
