Darts News – Alan Towe’s The Line On Darts – Shropshire v Cumbria

This coming weekend Shropshire will be playing their final game of the season in the BDO Inter County Championships and it could well be their last in division three as the odds are they will be relegated to division four. Their final game is a home tie against Cumbria, who are two places above them on 148 points, 22 more than Shropshire. Buckinghamshire are the team in between Shropshire and Cumbria and they have amassed 141 points, which is 15 to the good on Shropshire and at this stage of the season a monumental task for them to overtake.

One thing is for certain if the inevitable does happen the Salopians will be fighting next season to get back to division three as soon as they possibly can.

Lining up for the final game will be, Men’s ‘A’:- Steve Ritchie, Andy Roberts, Dan Astbury, Eddie Austin, Simon Pritchard, Clive Lucking, Darryl Sheldon, Matt Williams, Brian Hickman, Kevin Harris, Danny James, Andi Chatter, Men’s ‘B’:- Scott Pitchford, Andy Powell, Richard Parker, Mark Jones, Neville Quinton, Danny Humphries, John Breeze, Shane Knight, Nigel Sandbrook, John Cooper, Roger Taylor, Nathan Storar, Reserves:- Graham Parry, Tony Wickham, Arthur Smart, Anthony Stoneman, Rob Harris, Women’s ‘A’:- Leanne Loveridge, Michele Pritchard, Pam Jones, Mandy Morgan, Lorna Wheatley, Pam Evans, Women’s ‘B’:- Caroline Powell, Tina James, Deanna Worrall, Sue Lane, Wendy Talbot, Caroline La-Ffin, Reserves:- Sharon Harris, Rebecca Houston, Elaine Banks, Katherine McLean, Debbie Davies, Jane Vernon.
