The group two fixture between The Raven and Erdington Members Club produced no fewer than 43 scores of a ton or more with leaders Erdington Members Club recording 24 of them and also getting the 7-1 result to put them on 14 points from seven games plus a two points lead over second in the table St John’s Flights who also won 7-1 in their game against bottom of the table Kingfisher. With a 3-0 win over Ron Clarke followed by a 2-1 success against James Clarke Tony Carroll has taken over top spot in the Safe Harbour Double Top League with 22 points from 12 games. Dave Pickering moved up from fourth to second place keeping the pressure on Carroll as he chalked up two 2-1 wins over James Clarke and Kaz Clarke, but despite having a game in hand on the leader he is four points behind him. James Clarke dropped down one place in the table to fourth after losing both of his games.

Only one result from division one of the Sheldon and District Summer League this week which saw top side The Digby play away to their nearest rivals Castle Vale Stadium, but although they had home advantage Castle Vale finished on the wrong side of a 5-3 result to leave them still in second place but now two points behind their visitors.
The top two teams also played each other in division two leaders Mackadown Social travelling to take on Marston Green Tavern in a game that ended all square at 4-4 to maintain Mackadown’s three points lead.
There were 6-2 wins for Holy Souls and Solihull Moors in division three against respective opponents Sheldon Marlborough Flights and Crown Arrows to leave both teams level on both points and average.
No change in division four with top side Iron Horse winning 7-1 at Ridgemere Social and second placed Willclare Sports and Social having a 6-2 home win over Sheldon Social to leave a two point’s gap between the two teams.
There was a first win in five for Small Heath Amateur Gardeners in division five, a 5-3 win away to Greville Arms who are two placed above them, the Gardeners remain rooted at the foot of the table.
Big wins for the top two in division six, top side Langley Hall Sports and Social Flights winning 6-2 at home against Highwood Exiles ‘B’ and Maggies who are second in the table having a 7-1 home win over Ridgemere Rejects.

The latest fixtures in the Winmau Centre Monday Night League in the Wolverhampton Sports Arena brought together the top two teams in the league The Untouchables and Bully Boys, two teams who have been battling it out for the title all season and with only two games remaining the outcome of this one could well be the title decider. The result was a close 26-22 win for The Untouchables to give them a ten point’s lead over their opponents. The match contained four 180’s Aaron Fellows hit two and Dan Edmunds one for Untouchables and Alan Lengyel replied for Bull Boys. The defeat sees Bully Boys drop to third place with 811 points and taking over from them in the number two spot is What’s The Point who had a 37-11 win against Here For The Beer to put them on 814 points, but they have now played one game more than Bully Boys.

Four games played in the Forest of Arden Summer League this week and all of them in both division one and two had 5-2 results. In division one Riley’s Red Arrows beat Sheldon Marlborough Arrows to replace Journeys End in pole position, Journeys having a bye this week and now with a game in hand trail by two points. The other division one game saw Iron Horse win against Greville Arrows.
In the second division there was a win over Highwood Exiles for top team Crown Arrows to give them 16 points from ten games and Greville Arms accounted for Shard End Crown Flights.

Court Oak march on in the Kings Norton League, they took their unbeaten run to five games with a 6-1 win over fifth placed Toby Jug ‘A’. Second placed Kings Norton RBL have also won all four of their fixtures so far the latest being 5-2 against Kings Norton Ex Serviceman’s Club.
Kings Heath chalked up their first win in five when they won 4-3 away to Billesley and there was also a first win in four for Cotteridge, they won 5-2 away to Dingle Social.

The final games of the season for the Stourbridge and District Monday Night League saw just one movement in the table and that was Shrubbery Cottage who moved up one place over The Fox (Lye) to fifteenth of a nineteen team league.
Ashwood won the league with 68 points, Ten Arches finished as runners up with 64 the Shadow League title went to Quarry Bank Conservative Club who finished two points ahead of New Inns.

The Small Heath league played the preliminary round of their League Cup just one game which saw Gulp Tribe take on Mitre, both teams level on eight points in the league with Mitre just ahead of Gulp by one leg of average, but it was Gulp Tribe who got the verdict in the cup to take out Mitre.

Biggest surprise of the week in the Brierley Hill Monday Night League was the 5-4 defeat of Dudley Sports ‘A’ who have dropped from eighth to ninth after a 5-4 defeat away to Griffin who are two places off the foot of the table.
With leaders Dudley Sports ‘C’ having a bye this week second placed Bridge ‘B’ took the opportunity to reduce the arrears to four points with a 6-3 win over Bulls Head, Netherton who are seventh in the table.

Week two of the Netherton Thursday Night League and only four of the ten teams remain undefeated, Rose and Crown continue their great start to the season following up their 8-1 win over The Crown with a 7-2 win at The Delph Bell. An 8-0 win in division one of the Pip Club League for Prince of Wales against Two Gates Club has reduced the average deficit on leaders Bulls Head ‘A’ (Polesworth) but Prince of Wales still remain four points behind in second place.
The top two teams in division two J W Belgrave and Sports Bar ‘180’ both had 12-4 wins this week, J W beating Globe Inn ‘A’ to stay 10 points in front of Sports Bar ‘180’ who defeated Globe Inn ‘B’, not really a good week for the Globe teams.

With Tony Randell not playing a game this week three more wins from Bob Nixon has seen him take over the number one position in the Crown at Olton Double Top League, Nixon had 2-1 wins over both Karl Attwood and Anthony Daley jnr and followed up with a 3-0 success against Phil Henderson to give him a total points of 56 from 21 games, Randell has 52 from 19 and holds second place.
Former leader John Buckingham had 2-1 wins over Paul Stephens and Dave Hutchings to take his tally to 50 points from 21 games the same statistics as John Sidwell who won 3-0 against both Phil Henderson and Dave Hutchings.
After the leading four players a gap has now opened up to fifth placed Mark Wall who with 46 points is four short of the two third placed players and having played 23 games he has played more than all four of them above him.
