Mackadown Social with a 7-1 home win over George V made it four wins in as many games in division two and gave them a two point’s lead at the top of the table over second placed Marston Green Tavern. The two bottom team in the division The Pirates, who are bottom and next to bottom The Raven finished all square at 4-4.
Division four set up a tie between the top two team’s leaders Iron Horse and second placed Sheldon Heath Social, the result was a massive 7-1 win for Iron Horse to open up a three points lead over their hosts.
Maggies in division six lost pole position after a 5-3 home defeat by Langley Hall Sports and Social Flights who take over the number one spot with a one point lead on their rivals.

A 6-2 win at Toby Jug keeps St John’s one point lead intact at the top of group one of the South Birmingham League but close on their heels and with a game in hand are The Punchbowl who won 7-1 away to The Bell.

Riley’s Red Arrow have lost the number one spot in division one of the Forest of Arden Summer League following a 4-3 defeat away to Journeys End who have replaced them at the top of the table, both teams have twelve points but Journeys have the superior average.
Highwood ‘C’ remain two points behind the leading duo a 5-2 win at fourth placed Sheldon Marlborough Arrows widening the gap between the two teams to four points.
Crown Arrows have been ousted from the top spot in division two, their 4-3 loss at Greville Arms leaving them trailing Chelmsley Town on average, Chelmsley winning 5-2 at Ivy Leaf.

With Bully Boys having a bye this week in the Winmau Centre Monday Night League at the Wolverhampton Sports Arena The Untouchables have caught up on their game in hand and a convincing 37-11 win over Mad House has seen them return to the top of the table with 769 points a lead of 14 on the now second placed Bully Boys with only a handful of fixtures remaining. In form for Untouchables were Dave Bentley with two maximums and Aaron Fellows with a tremendous 164 checkout.
Biggest winners of the week were sixth in the table Johns Klan who had a 40-8 win over bottom placed Double Trouble, they were closely followed by Three Men And A Lady who had a 39-9 success against Make Mine A Double Gemma Jenkins notching two maximums and a 128 finish for the winners while Andy Croydon replied with a 180 for the losers.

After completing the opening three games in the Kings Norton League’s new season only five of the sixteen teams remain undefeated, Court Oak lead the field their latest win being 6-1 against Kings Heath in what was a very high scoring affair by both teams. Court Oak have a three legs advantage over Hillyfields who had a close 4-3 verdict over West Heath. Winner of the Parkfield Central Bar Knockout’s top prize of £100 was Mick Baker, Baker was in top form throughout the event chalking up 2-0 wins over J.Parkes, P.Baker and R.Colley before meeting John Morris in the final and that was when he dropped his first leg. Morris won the opener only to see Baker reply with wins in the second and third to win the title. John Morris received £40 as runner up.

With Park Lane Tavern having a bye this week in the Halesowen Monday Night Ladies League leaders Spring Meadow stretched their advantage to two points and increased their average lead with a 4-3 win over Haden Cross, Park Lane would now have to win their game in hand by at least 6-1 to overtake Spring Meadow.
Third placed Black Horse lost ground as they went down 4-3 away to fifth in the table Townsend to leave them eight points behind the leaders.
At the other end of the table bottom team Hare and Hounds chalked up only their third win in twelve when they won 5-2 against The Widders to put them level on six points with their opponents trailing now only on average.

Third placed Jolly Collier played away to fourth in the table The Vine in what was a very entertaining and nail biting encounter which went to the wire with Ben Sheldon’s win just getting the 4-3 verdict for the Collier.

With only four more rounds to go in the scheduled twelve for the Darts Club Championship being staged at Riley’s Snooker Bar, Solihull time is running out for players wishing to be a part of what is a total prize fund of £22,000 and they should get along to the Solihull club to be in with a chance of reaching the finals.
Already through to the Club Champion finals night are Mike Green, Tony Randell, Luis Barberan, Rob Singleton, Wayne Mynard, Dean Sanders and the latest two to join them are Graham Hall and Tom White, it’s going to be a great night of darts and possibly too close to call.

Tony Carroll has gone from third to top of the Safe Harbour Double Top League his 3-0 win over Terry Denneny giving him a total of 18 points from a possible 20. Previous leader James Clarke suffered his first defeat in ten, despite hitting a maximum he lost in three straight legs to Gez Oldfield to leave him on the same 18 points as Carroll but trailing on average.
Paul Morris lost 3-0 to John Green and he dropped two places from second to fourth, however with 14 points from 11 games he has played two more than third in the table Dave Pickering who after a 2-1 win over John Green is on the same 14 points as Morris.

Ashwood have completed their fixtures in the Stourbridge and District Monday Night League their final game of the season seeing them win 8-1 at home against The Cat Inn (Wordsley) to clinch the league title with 68 points having lost just two of their 36 games.
Ten Arches are in second place and although they still have a game to play they cannot catch Ashwood as they are some four points behind them but they will take the runners up spot as they in turn are six points ahead of third placed Britannia.
The Shadow League title will go to Quarry Bank Conservative Club who have a four points lead on second placed New Inns.

Dudley Sports ‘C’ have doubled their lead at the top of the Brierley Hill Monday Night League following their 6-3 win away to second in the table Bridge ‘B’. Third placed Rose and Crown (Brierley Hill) were also losers as they went down 7-2 at High Acres who are fourth and have now reduced the gap between the two teams to just two points. Bulls Head (Netherton) not only lost 5-4 at Portway but also lost their fifth place in the table as they have taken over the seventh place which was previously held by their victors.

The first leg of the League Cup semi finals was the order of the day for the Brierley Hill Friday Night League and current league leaders Miners (Wollescote) suffered a 5-4 home defeat at the hands of the Dudley Sports ‘B’ team who are third in the league table. Fourth placed Pensnett Liberal Club beat fifth placed Netherton Cricket Club by the same 5-4 margin.
The last remaining league fixture between Bulls Head (Netherton) and The Bridge was played off the latter winning 5-4, the result had no impact on the final table both teams remaining in the same position as they were before.

With EBAHA, leaders of the Small Heath League having a bye this week second in the table Mitre took the opportunity to draw level on points with them by handing out a first defeat to Gulp Tribe, the 6-3 win leaving Mitre trailing only on average with EBAHA.
It was a good week for Moseley All Service as they recorded their first win in four beating Clock Inn 6-3 to move off the foot of the table and be replaced by Emerald Flights who lost their local derby with Emerald Club 5-4.

In the very last fixture of the season reigning Tamworth League champions Fox and Dogs lost their chance of holding on to the title when they went from the number one spot to finish third losing 4-3 away to second placed Dolphin ‘A’, but Dolphin ‘A’ didn’t do enough to win the title either as they finished as runners up to Belgrave Club who won their final game against Mile Oak Rovers 7-0 to end with 192 points one more than Dolphin ‘A’ and three to the good on Fox and Dogs.
The Players League title went to Fox and Dogs man Martin Edwards who won all twenty two of the games he played and finished with 66 points 15 more than runner up Adam Williams (Belgrave Club).

It was not good news for Riley’s ‘A’ in the Tettenhall Wednesday Night League as they lost their home tie with Whitmore Reans WMC 5-2, however they hold on to pole position but their lead now reduced to just two points on second placed Otter and Vixen who had a 4-3 win at Dog and Partridge. Whitmore’s win sees them move one place up the table to fifth.

Although John Buckingham won both of his games in this week’s matches in the Crown at Olton Double Top League he has been knocked off his number one perch and has dropped to second with 43 points from 18 games. Returning to the top spot is Tony Randell who has caught up with some of his outstanding games having played three this week and won all three to make it seventeen straight wins giving him a total of 46 points three more than both John Buckingham and third placed Bob Nixon, Randell has a game in hand on Buckingham but Nixon has two in hand on Buckingham and one on Randell.
