DARTS : MICHAEL SHEEN - SHEEN IS A DARTS NUT

FROST/NIXON star MICHAEL SHEEN has become obsessed with darts.

The British actor was hooked on the recent World Darts Championship and can^t get the image of the fat stars of the sport out of his head.

He tells Sports Illustrated magazine, "I find it extraordinary that the game requires a great deal of skill and artistry - and yet seems to require you to be as fat as you possibly can be from drinking beer.

"The image of these not-exactly-sportsmen playing this beautiful game with absolute precision and tiny margins for error is incongruous. But it is fantastic to watch. It seems the fatter the man, the better the darts."
