Article: Congratulations Jamie on getting your Tour Card

Congratulations Jamie on getting your Tour Card

Red Dragon’s JAMIE LEWIS won one of the last four automatic Tour Cards on Day Four of the PDC^s Qualifying School on Sunday.

Welsh ace Lewis, only 20, will become a full-time professional in 2012 after his success at the Barnsley Metrodome – where he defeated former World Championship semi-finalist Andy Jenkins 6-3 in the final to win his Tour Card.

The youngster from Cardigan dropped only four legs in wins over Hans Hagley, Josh Jones and Stephen Hardy.

Jamie said "I was a bit nervous at the start as it^s the most pressurised event I^ve ever played in and the standard has been amazing and I’m just so happy at getting my card for the 2012 PDC Circuit”.

Simon Hall Head of Marketing said “Jamie has been with us for over 8 years and were overjoyed for him and his family that he’s got his card.”

Red Dragon will be behind Jamie all the way and we wish him every success for 2012.
