ADC Global Championship 25/26 – Who is the best Amateur Dart Player on the Planet?

December 1st marks the official start of “Dartsmas”, and what better way to kick it off than the start of the pinnacle of the Amateur Darts Calendar, the ADC Global Championship.

Starting on Monday 1st December and running through 3 phases until finals day on Sunday 4th January, the ADC Global Championships brings together the most consistent and dominant amateur darts players across the world.

There are no invites. No shortcuts. Every place in the tournament is earned through the battles that have taken place across the incredibly competitive 2025 season of the Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC).

Bigger Prize Pool. Bigger Stage.

The prize fund for the 2025/26 Global Championship has been significantly boosted, with a total of £150,000 up for grabs. The winner will walk away with a guaranteed £60,000, making this one of the most lucrative amateur darts tournaments in history.

The ADC Global Championship will take place on one of the most recognizable competitive environments in modern darts, The Modus Live Lounge. The areas is built for high-octane intensity, tight camera angles, amplified atmosphere and raw competitive tension.

Adding to the excitement, every dart of the championship will be broadcast live and free on Pluto TV, giving fans worldwide the chance to witness the action while enjoying over 250+ free channels and thousands of on-demand movies and shows.

What is the format of the 25/26 ADC Global Championship?

The ADC Global Championship format has been designed to reward consistency and the ability to handle pressure across multiple stage of the competition. The structure is simple, transparent and merit drive – every leg matters, every result counts, and no player advances without earning it.

Stage 1 – Group Stage (December 1st – 8th)

56 Players | 8 Groups | Top 4 per Group Advance | Best of 7 Legs

All 56 players are divided into eight groups of seven, competing across eight consecutive days. Each player will face off against the other 6 players in their group, ensuring that advancement is based on sustained performance rather than a single result, with the top four performers from each group progressing to the next stage,

Stage 2 - Knockout groups (December 9th – 12th)

32 Players | 8 Groups | Only Group Winner Advances | Best of 7 Legs

The next stage places the 32 qualifying into eight groups of four, with a format that intensifies the pressure. Players will compete with each opponent in their group twice, with only the winner of each group advancing to Finals Day.

Finals Day (4th January 2026)

8 Players | Knockout Bracket

The eight Stage 2 winners will compete in a straight knockout bracket:

·        Quarter finals: Best of 11

·        Semi-finals: Best of 13

·        Grand Final: Best of 17

No second chances. This is the day a Champion is made.
