Premier League Darts Birmingham Preview

The National Indoor Arena in Birmingham is the venue for the latest instalment of high octane darts action tonight.

Over ten thousand people should be packed into the NIA cheering on their darting heroes as we enter the second half of the season with the league table shaping up nicely. We^ve been studying the odds available at William Hill this afternoon on the darts action.

Wayne Mardle v Mervyn King
The King has had a bit of a set-back in the last couple of weeks, losing against Terry Jenkins and Raymond van Barneveld, but is still well placed to earn a play-off spot. At odds of 4/7 he isn^t expected to have any problems over coming Hawaii 501 though, priced at 11/4. The draw is available at 4/1.

Terry Jenkins v Jelle Klaasen
The Bull takes on The Matador in the second match of the evening but the only reds that Jenkins will see are double tops and treble twenties. The Englishman is favourite at 4/6 to win this match while the draw can be backed at 4/1. Debutant Klaasen has had a nightmare season so far losing five out of seven matches and isn^t fancied to stop the rot here with odds of 9/4 looking far too short on a Dutch victory.

John Part v James Wade
After a draw and a defeat in his first two games things weren^t looking good for The Machine but since then he^s been on red-hot form winning five on the bounce to go to the top of the Premier League table. Canadian John Part on the other hand only has two wins so far and is a massive 4/1 shot to pick up two points from this fixture. The draw isn^t too likely either at an even bigger 5/1. James Wade is the shortest price of all the stars on show at 4/11.

Phil Taylor v Raymond van Barneveld
The two biggest names in the world of darts bring the evening to a close in what is sure to be another epic encounter. The Power has started to perform like we all know he can in the last few weeks winning two and drawing one and is unsurprisingly favourite at 4/9. The draw can be backed at 9/2, while Barney, himself on decent form with three wins and a draw in his last four matches, is priced at 7/2. We tip 14 time world champion Phil Taylor to emerge triumphant against his Dutch opponent once again.

William Hill are streaming all the darts games live online tonight using their bet live tv service from 18:40 this evening.
