Jonny Clayton’s rise to prominence in such a short career has been one of darts’ best feel-good stories. Coming to the PDC relatively late in his career, the Ferret has already amassed a trophy haul that many of the all-time greats would be envious of.

2021 was really Jonny’s breakthrough year, where the Ferret picked up a sensational 4 televised titles, including the Premier League in his debut campaign. What made this feat all the more remarkable, is that Jonny achieved this whilst still working for his local council as a plasterer!

Prior to hitting the big time in the last few years Jonny was often in the shadow of other Welsh greats such as Mark Webster and fellow Champion of Champions winner Gerwyn Price. But once the Ferret picked up his first big title, the World Cup, alongside Price, then the Ferret has remained one of the men to beat at the top of the PDC.
