Barrie Bates

Barrie Bates stormed onto the PDC televised circuit with a superb run to the final of the UK Open in 2006 before losing to Raymond van Barneveld.

Since then he’s made a impression on the circuit, winning the John Smiths Singles in February and May’s Le Skratch Sarantos Retsinas Memorial event in Montreal.

Barrie made his World Championship debut in 2007 and has not missed the event since, with his success on the Pro-Tour it was no surprise when he won the award of “Best Floor Player” at the PDC Awards dinner.

Recently Barrie partnered Mark Webster to reach the World Cup finals in what was described as some of the most passionate darts seen on TV.

Barrie said about his darts “They are straightforward and solid and really easy to throw, as they sit in my hand perfectly”.
