(8 stages leading to a Grand Finals, an event open to all players of all standards)

The Streamline Taxis Open Youth Darts Competition

Held at Huntington WMC in York

Saturday 9th July 2011

(This event is for youths aged between 14yrs and 21yrs, male and female)

Organised in conjunction with The Streamline Taxis York Open Darts Championship

No person who enters the main event can enter this youth tournament regardless of age

Entry Fee £5, entries taken on the day

 

The York Champion of Champions Grand Finals

(Venue to be confirmed)

Friday 2nd September 2011

(This event is organised for players who are registered and playing in York Dart Leagues)

There will be letters sent out to pubs and clubs who have teams playing in York darts leagues and they will be invited to hold in house competitions in Men’s and Ladies Singles and Mixed Pairs.

The winners of each in house competition will qualify for The York Champion of Champions Grand Finals

 

Four Person Open Team Competition £1,000 First Prize

This event is limited to 64 teams, Entry Fee £20 Per Team

(Each team must have one male and one female member, the other two team members can be of either sex)

Each team can only have either one BDO County or one PDC Player within their team

(BDO County or PDC Player means players registered or playing in either body during either the 2010 and or 2011 Seasons)

Doubles Board Open Darts Competition £100 First Prize

£5 Entry Fee

 

Other Events Include

 

1. A speed darts competition. This would have a £2 entry fee and a player would try to score as many points as possible in 111 seconds (1min 51secs) using three darts and retrieving their own darts themselves. 50% of the money raised from this event will go to the charity and 50% in the prize pot for the top.

 

1. A speed double comp. The entry fee would be the same as in section 2 and the money split in the same manner. Entrants would throw at double 11 for a total of 111 seconds (1min 51secs) and the winners would be the players who hit the most double 11’s in that time.

 

1. An 11 dart challenge. The entry fee and prize fund/charity split the same as in section 2 and 3. This competition is a player throwing 11 darts at a board and scoring as many points as possible within those darts. The top players are the ones who score the most points within the 11 darts.

 

Challenges 2, 3 and 4 would finish at 11pm. The knockout obviously would finish once the final has been played.

 

YDP Darts Pentathlon £1,000 First Prize

(Venue to be confirmed)

Saturday 10th December 2011

(This event is limited to 32 Players with a £50 Entry Fee. Players will be contacted when entries open)

This event has different disciplines with prize money for the overall winner down to 10th place.

Also the winners of Shanghai, Halve It and Round the Board will receive further prize money.

 

Entry to watch this event will be by ticket only
