Red Dragon Darts signs new 5 year deal with Peter “Snakebite” Wright
Red Dragon Darts have continued their superb relationship with Peter Wright, agreeing a new sponsorship deal for a further 5 years.
The flamboyant 2014 PDC World Championship Finalist joined Red Dragon back in 2009 and has been quietly working his way up the PDC World Rankings all the way upto to No.7 in the World.
Head of Marketing for Red Dragon Darts, Simon Hall said " Peter is an amazing character both on and off the oche and knows exactly what he wants and where he wants to go with his career. He demands nothing less than perfection from his darts and it’s amazing to watch him work so closely with our development team when he’s fine tuning his set up. Much was made in the press of his switch to new darts after Round 1 in the Wold Championships to a set of our Bronzer darts, but it came as no surprise to us. We are so happy for Peter and his support Team, especially Peter’s Wife Jo in being selected for the Premier League and we are very much looking forward to helping Peter achieve his long term darting ambitions.”
Peter Wright said "2014 has been the most amazing year of my darts life already and it’s still only January, making the World Championship final was simply amazing, then being selected for the Premier League and signing a new deal with Red Dragon really caps it off. I still have so much left to achieve and lots more hard work and practice to do and it’s great to know I’ve got such a supportive Team down at Red Dragon to help me do that”.
Peter’s first appearance in the PDC Premier League is on February the 6th at The Echo Arena in Liverpool.
