Article: No Set Backs for Wright

No Set Backs for Wright

Following a great tussle with Michael van Gerwen in Week 1 of the Premier League, PDC World Champion Peter Wright has made no changes to his darts or set-up ahead of Week 2 and his clash with Gary Anderson. Peter said “We had a great game last week and I was really happy with how I scored and how the darts flew again, and I’m still learning new things about what I can do with this new set.” Although Peter narrowly lost by 7-5 to a rampant MvG, Peter had more than enough chances to win the game himself. Peter continued “The short format games in the Premier League are really exciting and you have to finish when you get the chance, and I’ll make sure that my finishing is bang on this week as I really look forward to playing Gary who is in superb form.” The Premier League Night Two takes place at the Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham this evening Live on Sky Sports from 7pm in the UK and Worldwide via the PDC’s global broadcast partners. This week’s contender will be history-making Ladies player Fallon Sherrock, who becomes the first woman to play in the tournament. 2020 Unibet Premier League Night Two Thursday February 13 Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham Rob Cross v Nathan Aspinall Gerwyn Price v Michael Smith Gary Anderson v Peter Wright Glen Durrant v Fallon Sherrock Daryl Gurney v Michael van Gerwen
