Warwickshire v Essex After two consecutive defeats in the Premier Division of the BDO Inter County Championships Warwickshire County Darts Organisation will have every opportunity this coming weekend to get back to winning ways when they entertain next to bottom of the table Essex at the Bishopsgate Club, Foleshill Road, Coventry, CV1 4JJ. A win for Warwickshire could see them overtake Glamorgan and move up into third place in the table as Glamorgan who are just eight points ahead of Warwickshire will be playing hosts to reigning champions and current Premier Division leaders Yorkshire which will be no easy task for them. Shropshire v Leicestershire This coming weekend The Royal, Delaware Avenue, Albrighton, Wolverhampton, WV7 3BW will be the setting for Shropshire’s latest BDO Inter County Championship Division Four fixture and lining up against them will be Leicestershire. After three successive defeats this, the fifth of their nine games season will give Shropshire every opportunity to chalk up their second win of the campaign as their opponents are directly above them and only two points better off so a win would definitely see them move up into seventh place in the table. Derbyshire v Gloucestershire After kicking off their season in Division Three of the BDO Inter County Championships with an 18-18 draw away to Merseyside, Derbyshire then had a run of three successive wins. Unfortunately in their last outing, an away game against leaders of the division Somerset they came unstuck and returned from the south west with a 23-13 defeat. This coming weekend at the Pinxton Village Hall, 3 Kirkstead Road, Pinxton, NG16 6NA they will take on Gloucestershire in what will be their sixth of a scheduled nine games. The odds are in Derbyshire favour to return to winning ways against Gloucestershire as they are currently next to bottom of the table on 81 points some 24 short of their hosts who are fourth in the table and just one point behind third placed Merseyside who have a tough home tie against Somerset.
