Shropshire v Black Country

This coming weekend Shropshire will be playing hosts to county newcomers Black Country in what will be the second of their scheduled eight games in League Three of the UKDA National League.

This will be a tough test for Shropshire as their visitors are currently top of the divisional table following their opening 24-12 home win over Gloucestershire, while in their first fixture Shropshire suffered a narrow 19-17 away defeat to neighbouring Salopian, another new team to county darts.

For the second consecutive game Shropshire have chosen to name a squad for both the men and women with the teams being selected from Sam Aitkens, Jon Blakemore, Phil Clarke, Dan Downey, Chris Fox, Andy Jervis, Simon Mountford, Robert Pierce, Martin Riggs, John Simms, Nathan Storar, Luke Wildman, Mark Bayliss, Paul Bromley, Reece Cook-Lucas, Martin East, Brian Hickman, Ben Johnson, Richard Parker, Neville Quinton, Dave Robbins, John Speed, Rob Thompson, Chris Williams, Dave Bayton, Andi Chatter, Brett Cooper, Justin Evans, Chris Hill, Steve Lynch, Connor Pickett, Dan Rickwood, Melvyn Roberts, Neil Steventon, Andy Vellender, Jamie Webb, The women’s teams will be selected from Jenna Ball, Clare Cunnington-Butler, Sophie Fawcett, Kimberley Hewitt, Dianne Newton, Marie Riggs, Trish Ball, Jayne Downey, Becky Harris, Kirsty Jenks, Michele Pritchard, Deana Sheldon, Hannah Bradbury, Lynsie Evans, Kelly Haverson, Lorraine Jervis, Lisa Rea, Joanne Swarbrick.
