A Look Back In Time - Alan Towe 24.07.2002

The Minworth Social Individual League appears at present to be turning into a two horse race. Reigning champion Mark Hollyoake is currently in pole position with 90 points from 21 games, his 3-0 wins over Dawn Barnes and David Thomas doing his cause no harm at all. Second placed Peter Allen beat Pat Koyce 3-0 and had 2-1 successes against Carl Betteridge and Peter Guesford to give him 80 points, still with two games in hand on Hollyoake. Following the leading pair are Steve Cain and John Ainsworth, who both have 78 points from 21 games.

180’s were supplied this week by Pat Koyce, Bill Kirkland, Steve Cain, Steve Brindley, Peter Allen, Mick Bagley (2) and Mark Hollyoake (2).
