Warwickshire County Darts Organisation will be back in premier division action in the BDO Inter Counties Championships this coming weekend, looking for a quick return to winning ways following their demise against Yorkshire.

In the Minworth Social Individual League Mark Hollyoake made up ground on leader Peter Allen when he chalked up two convincing 3-0 victories over Tony Randell and Mick Smith, Hollyoake notching a maximum in both encounters. With 121 points Hollyoake has reduced the gap to eight points and still has four games in hand. Randell, who is currently second in the table has 120 points, but has played five more fixtures than Hollyoake.
In addition to the two 180’s hit by Hollyoake there were another seven recorded by Mick Smith (2), Derek Fardon (2), Carl Betteridge, Pat Koyce and Chris Forsyth.

After a close 5-4 win over Hobsons Choice, Highlander, leaders of the Harborne and District Winter League premier division, sprung back into top form as they handed out a 9-0 whitewash to Hillyfields.Raven recorded a fine 7-2 win in their home tie with Hobsons choice.
Division one produced a top of the table clash between New Inns and Weoley Castle , a maximum from C.Eaton helping New Inns to a close 5-4 victory. Village Stump proved to be too strong for Highlander Ladies and ran out 8-1 winners.

St Annes continued their fine form and consolidated their number one spot in the premier division of the Sheldon and District Winter League with a 5-4 win over the Malt Shovel, thanks to a 180 from M.Allen and 177 by A.Richards. Fordbridge Social kept the pressure on the leaders with their 7-2 success at EBAHA. Scores of 125,100,135 and breaks of 115 and 100 from A.Hutchings were the highlight of Highwood’s 6-3 win at Iron Horse and keeps them in third place. H.Mace ((Mackadown Social) hit a 180 as his side lost 6-3 to Three Horse Shoes. Trailing 4-1 the Brook Meadow fought back to 4-4 with Saltley Amateur Gardeners. However, P.Randell kept his nerve and earned Saltley a 5-4 win.
In division one Sheldon Dukes made it fourteen straight wins with an 8-1 result against Journeys End. Hobs Meadow continued their push for honours as they beat Dovecote 7-2S.Searle (Sheldon Social) and F.Naven (Shard End RBL) both hit a 180 but the all-important 5-4 result went to Shard End.
British Telecom Club had to come from behind to beat BCS Club 6-3 and maintain their pole position in the second division. Plume of Feathers came back from 4-1 down to win 5-4 against Sheldon Shoes despite a nine darts leg from Shoes A.Price.

Three Horse Shoes beat Two Gates Club 5-3 to keep them in top spot in division one of the Longwood Winter League. Second placed White Lion suffered a setback to their title hopes as they lost 5-3 at the Wilnecote Club, who incidentally are at the foot of the table.
In division two the Railway Club made it eleven wins in twelve games as with a 6-2 scoreline they accounted for Plough and Harrow. Second and third placed Progressive Club and Red Lion ‘B’ were also 6-3 winners in their respective games against Cue Sports and Jolly Sailor.

Red Arrows were red hot in the Forest of Arden Winter League as they handed out a 9-0whitewash to Farringdon Social. With Hobs Meadow and Hobs Meadow Mixes not playing Arrows have now taken a two points lead at the top of the table. Highwood were also 809 winners as they beat Cock and Hens. A.Hinton (Stechford Social) broke with 160 as his team went down 5-4 at Solihull Borough Flights.
