Both men’s teams recorded wins, the ‘A’ 7-5 and the ’B’ 8-4 with Brian Jones (29.86) and Darin White (28.02) taking the respective match awards. For the fifth consecutive fixture Trina Gulliver (26.86) won the ladies ’A’ award in a 4-2 win, while the ’B’ side went down by the same margin and Dawn Barbier (16.70) was their top player.

Frost remains in second place on 187 points, five adrift of leader Ian McFarlane with two games in hand.

Carl Winters and Mark Birch were involved in a high scoring encounter which included no fewer than sixteen three figure scores. Winters hit 6x100 and Birch 9x100 plus a 128 finish. The close 2-1 result went in favour of Mark Birch.

Other players to find the three treble twenties were Jay Murray, Colin Farrington and Gordon Clinton.
