This repointer is the most powerful I've ever used, especially for pull power. You have to be cautious in two things: first close the T2 thread until the end, and only then start the anti-clockwise rotation, meaning pulling. And also when pushing, first rotate the T2 until it is fully out, and only then start rotating inwards, to have maximum screwing space. Also be careful to position the hex nuts straight to avoid bending the repointer itself.
