WINMAU AND DARTCOUNTER PARTNER TO OFFER THE ULTIMATE IN FREE DARTS SCORER APPS

Winmau, the world’s leading darts brand, has announced an exclusive agreement with Netherlands-based DartCounter to further develop and market the ultimate in free app based darts scorers.

The Winmau DartScore app is the only scorer of its kind to be available for Android, iOS and web. Under the two-year agreement, Winmau will contribute to the ever-evolving development of the app which will carry the Winmau logo and be promoted through the company’s sales and marketing channels.

More than 70,000 darts players have already downloaded the free app from http://dartcounter.net. With a wealth of well-thought out features and functions, the highly customisable Winmau DartScore is designed to help darters improve their game. Players can either take on the automated ‘dartbot’, which can be set to play at an average of between 30 and 100, or compete against as many as four other players in match play or set play formats. Master scorer Ray Martin has lent his voice to make game play even more authentic.

In addition to recommending checkout combinations, score analysis, averages, high finishes and scores, the Winmau DartsCounter includes a range of training exercises such as Bob’s 27 and drills for doubles and scoring. In addition, by setting up an account, players can save their sessions, and those of their friends, to track progress and identify areas for improvement through a range of helpful charts.
