Champion of Champions is back.
Red Dragon has officially launched the return of its flagship grassroots tournament, giving pub and club players across the UK & Ireland the chance to step up, stand out, and take their shot at something bigger.
The road to Cardiff begins on April 1st.
Fresh from an unforgettable 2025 campaign, where David Davies lifted the title, the stage is set once again for the next wave of players ready to make their mark.
Now in its 11th year, Champion of Champions, proudly sponsored by Worthington’s continues to be the beating heart of grassroots darts.
This is where local rivalries, packed venues and raw talent collide.
Open exclusively to non-PDC Tour Card holders, the tournament is designed to give everyday players a real pathway. No shortcuts. No barriers. Just darts.
From your local pub to a national stage.
The journey starts in pubs and clubs across the UK & Ireland, with 256 qualifying events taking place throughout the spring and summer.
One venue. One winner. No second chances.
Every qualifier earns their place at Finals Day in Cardiff on August 22nd, where the atmosphere shifts and the stakes rise.
The Depot becomes the arena.
The players become contenders.
A total prize fund of £32,500 is on the line but this is about more than money.
It’s about earning your place.
It’s about proving yourself under pressure.
It’s about getting noticed.
From local qualifiers to the Finals Day stage in Cardiff, every dart is an opportunity to stand out. Every match is a chance to build your name and show what you’re made of.
This is where players turn belief into something real.
Tom Brown, CEO of Nodor Group, said:
“Red Dragon’s Champion of Champions has always been about creating genuine pathway moments for amateur players, and its return in 2026 marks our biggest step yet with its partner Worthington’s. This competition is built from the grassroots up – a community‑first tournament that gives local talent the chance to shine on a national stage.
“As the UK’s leading grassroots darts event, it continues to showcase the passion, commitment and skill that thrive in pubs, clubs and venues across the country. We’re incredibly proud that Champion of Champions remains Red Dragon’s flagship amateur platform, and we can’t wait to see thousands of players once again competing for their moment in the spotlight.”
Martin Anderson, Regional Director at Molson Coors Beverage Company, added:
"We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of the Champion of Champions, an event we have been proud to support since its inception 11 years ago. At Molson Coors, we are passionate about supporting sport at a grassroots level, and this tournament offers a fantastic opportunity for amateur darts players across the UK to compete on a major stage.
It is incredibly rewarding to engage with our customers in their local venues throughout the qualifying rounds, all leading up to the spectacular finale in Cardiff. We look forward to seeing the next generation of talent step up to the oche for another year of top-tier competition."

Champion of Champions isn’t just a tournament.
It’s the noise of a packed pub.
It’s the pressure of a last-leg decider.
It’s the moment you realise you belong.
From first dart to finals stage, this is where journeys begin.
Game on.
