Keelan Kay continues his journey with Red Dragon Darts

Keelan Kay the very talented youngster continues his sponsorship with Red Dragon Darts extending a further 3 years with darts most exciting brand.

Keelan first came to the attention of the darting world with several explosive performances and wins on the JDC tour, long before he claimed the 2019 WDF World Cup Boys Singles title. He’s also shown that he has the ability to compete at the senior level too, with impressive performances in the MODUS Icons of Darts streamed tournaments and qualifying multiple times for Champion of Champions finals day. More than just Keelan’s exceptional talent however, it’s his overall attitude to the game that stands him out as different to many youngsters bursting through on the scene.

Sports Icons Management CEO Billy Lovell said “It’s quite simple Keelan is an amazing lad with a great family, whose heart is well and truly in darts and he’s a pleasure to be working with on his development”.

Steve Brown, Chairman of The JDC, said "We've seen many youngsters come through the JDC that are seriously talented, but it’s Keelan approach to the game and his patience that stands him out as different, sure he gets upset at losing but his ability to reflect well on it and put in the extra work is what makes him such a special player".

Keelan has a been a lifelong fan of darts, watching the game since he can remember and his dream like all youngsters of his age is to win the big one and Keelan said "I just love playing darts and could do it 18 hours a day if my parents let me, its amazing to be carrying on with Red Dragon, as they have helped me so much with my development and support".

Keelan will carry on growing his impressive playing record through the JDC and World Youth tours, where we all look forward to seeing him develop as a player and person.
