Darts News - Ladies and Youth Events played as part of The Streamline Taxis York Open Darts Championship

The Top Eight Ranked Ladies came together to decide who would be crowned The Streamline Ladies 2013 Darts Champion and Cleveland^s Tracy Marran was just too strong for Hull^s Mel Robinson as she won 3-1 in the final. The full results are as follows: 1/4 Finals Mel Robinson (Hull) 3 Katie Hoggarth (Skipton) 1, Denise Fowler (York) 2 Marie Bulmer (Cleveland) 3, Sarah Abbott (Driffield) 0 Cindy Roberts (York) 3, Tracy Marran (Cleveland) 3 Mandy Baker (York) 0. Semi-Final Results: Robinson 3 Bulmer 1, Roberts 0 Marran 3. Final Result Marran 3 Robinson 1.
 
The Top Four Ranked Youth players fought it out to become The Streamline Taxis 2013 Youth Champion with Daniel Thomspon of York going one step further than his dad, Chris, by becoming the 16 years and under Champion with a 3-2 victory over Hulls Scott Jackson 3-2. Thompson had legs of 22-24-22 with and average of 65.02 against Jacksons 21-26 (62.22 Ave). The semi-finals saw Leeds Fred Wilson lose out 3-0 to Thompson (24-21) and Tommy Heron Jnr (Whitwell) going down by the same margin.
