BoyleSports World Grand Prix race latest ahead of PC15-17

The race to qualify for the 2024 BoyleSports World Grand Prix resumes with a Players Championship treble-header in Milton Keynes this week.

The Marshall Arena will play host to Players Championships 15-17 from July 31-August 2, as the sport's biggest names return to action following the recent World Matchplay.

With nine Players Championship events and four European Tour events remaining before the qualification cut-off on September 30, a host of players are in contention to qualify for the unique double-start event.

The top 16 players from the PDC Order of Merit will compete in the £600,000 event alongside 16 further qualifiers from the one-year ProTour Order of Merit, with the top eight players on the PDC Order of Merit set to be seeded.

Reigning champion Luke Humphries will headline this year's showpiece, with former champions Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton all currently in the seeded positions.

Two-time winner James Wade and 2017 champion Daryl Gurney are set to feature as ProTour Order of Merit Qualifiers, with teenage sensation Luke Littler poised to make his double-start debut.

Scottish legend Gary Anderson will head up the ProTour Order of Merit Qualifiers, with two-time runner-up Raymond van Barneveld and 2011 finalist Brendan Dolan also in line to make their World Grand Prix returns.

The 2024 BoyleSports World Grand Prix will take place at Leicester's Mattioli Arena from October 7-13, as 32 of the world's top stars compete for the coveted title across seven days of competition.

The tournament will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK, through the PDC's worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and Viaplay, and on PDCTV (excluding subscribers based in the UK, Germany, Austria & Switzerland).
