York Darts runs a new host of exciting events. About Us – York Darts Promotions
We, at York Darts Promotions, are a brand new venture and, at this time, none profit organisation. Starting out in January 2011, with myself, Neil Hart, and quickly involving three friends and fellow darts enthusiasts, one of whom plays on the PDC Professional Circuit, we are growing day by day. Our aim is to attract some of the top darts players to our region. We want to encourage local people male, female and youths to attend such tournaments, whether it be to watch or participate. To organise various styles of tournaments and exhibitions and eventually move into corporate days and working with schools, showing the mathematics of darts plus the need to be organised and work as a team in bringing such events together.
We also aim to improve youth development within the sport, organising many competitions and as time and funds progress taking these people to different tournaments which will also help develop interaction with other youths from different areas.
We will take our events to various premises thus helping local businesses such as Pubs, Clubs and Hotels increase their trade as well as other local amenities and even the tourist industry within the city of York and District.
We can be found on facebook at York Darts Promotions Company or group where details of all our forthcoming events can be found. This also gives our facebook members the chance to post views, comments and ideas to interact with fellow darts enthusiasts, players or just anyone who’s interested.
In our first month we had 22,653 post views, this was on our company page and all prior to staging any events.
