Yorks Nick Harteveld has become the second person to qualify for the 2014 YDP Pro-am Grand Finals. Nicks consistancey was a key factor in him earning his place amongst some of darts top names who will be appearing at Huntington WMC in York on Wednesday 8th October 2014.

Nicks trip to the final of tonights Knockout included legs of 19-20 and 18 before beating K...ieran Polker in 17 and 21 in the semi-final.

His opponent in the final Graham Steel from Norton hadn^t dropped a leg in beating Jo Hodges in 20 and 19 and Andy Harland in the semi^s by 2-0 scorelines.

Would like to say a massive thanks to Graham Steel and Cheryl Mitchell who travelled from Norton, to Joshua Craw (Cawood), Andy Harland (Driffield) and Andrew Hanks (Drax) who took the time out to attend the event. Also to Jo Hodges, Nikki Johnson and Abbie Scott who made up the quartet of ladies who attended and to Keran Polkey, Mark Miller and Nick Harteveld who completed the line up. Thank you very much.

We also played a Blind Pairs KO which saw Graham Steel get revenge on Nick Harteveld when partnering Neil Hart to a 2-1 win in the Semi final before moving on to beat Kieran Polkey/Andrew Hanks 2-0 in the final. Beaten Semi-finalists were Jo Hodges/Joshua Craw and Ian Atkin/Nick Harteveld.
