The 2012 England Classic will once again be played at the superb Bunn Leisure in Sussex from the 21st to 23rd September. Entries can still be made online (www.englanddarts.co.uk) for all of the competitions at the England Classic, however if you do miss the deadline, entries will still be taken at Bunn Leisure on the day.
The England Classic is one of the last events as players chase vital ranking points to qualify for the BDO Lakeside World Championships and in addition to the BDO points, EDO and WDF ranking points are also available.
This ensures a truly world class field and both Julie Gore and Stephen Bunting will be there to try and defend the titles they won last year. In fact, Stephen will be looking for a hat trick of Classic titles as he also won the event in 2010.
Play starts on the Friday afternoon with the Early Bird competition and then later that night there will be a cash competition. Saturday will see both the Men’s and Ladies singles and pairs played down to the finals which will be played on Sunday afternoon.
Sunday morning will see the Mixed Triples and the Youth Singles, plus the newly announced England Matchplays.
For those people unable to be with us at Bunn Leisure, there is a great opportunity to watch the matches streamed live via www.englanddarts.co.uk. Selected matches will be shown on the Saturday and then on Sunday the England Matchplays and all the respective finals will also be streamed live.
And for those people who have not been able to book accommodation, entry at £5 per person, per day allows anyone to come along on the day.
The EDO are also running a great competition to win a Winmau Blade 4 dartboard and a copy of the Winmau England Matchplay DVD. To enter, please select your winners from the Men’s last eight matches and the Ladies semi-finals, and also who you think will be the two Champions, then e-mail your predictions before midnight on Saturday 22nd September 2012 to :firstname.lastname@example.org
