Three darts players to represent region

Marlborough darts players Leigh Stobie, Julie Neal and Dianne Guard have been selected in the Region 13 team to compete in the national region competition.

Stobie threw two maximum 180s and McIlroy one.

This Sunday is the mixed pairs championships at A and P Park. Report time is 1pm.

In interclub matches this week, Allied Flights beat Kia Toa 14-6, Leigh Stobie and Kelly Neal leading the charge. Mike Thoms and Tahana Cootes won a couple of games for Kia Toa.

Garry Tait and Steve Loffhagen spearheaded Redwood Cowboys^ 17-3 win against Allied Rebels. Dawn Nyberg and Dave Hamilton played well for the Rebels.

Robert Mesman won all his singles matches, helping Summit real Estate to a 14-6 victory over Clubs of Marlborough. Dianne Guard won a couple of matches for the club.

Next week^s draw: Kia Toa v Redwood Cowboys; Allied Flights v Summit Real Estate; Clubs Marlborough v Allied Rebels.
