The Winmau Belgium Open This Weekend

The Winmau Belgium Open 2015 takes place this weekend in the Belgica Loods from the Royal Yacht Club of Belgium on the Thonetlaan 133 te Antwerp.

This year’s field shows an increase on 2015, with an incredible 784 players chasing vital ranking points for the Winmau World Masters and Lakeside World Championships.

The total prize fund is €16,500, and there are international ranking points for the BDO, WDF and Finder Darts Masters on offer.

29 of the top ranked 32 male players will be in Antwerp to compete against a truly international field, and there are only 2 ladies not attending from the top 16 in the rankings, which assures the highest quality field that is sure to result in some electric darts!

The warm-up takes place on Friday evening, and registration takes place in the venue from 18:00 until 19:30. The start time is 20:00, with the maximum entries capped at 256.

On Saturday the doubles are in action, and on Sunday the main tournament commences with the Men’s, Women’s and Youth singles .

Entry to the venue is free for spectators, so come along and watch the best players in the BDO/WDF system competing for the coveted Winmau Belgium Open title!

For the singles games, the players are seeded according to the BDO ranking.
