Scotty Mitchell’s dream come true playing Adams

Waiting for the Lakeside Draw is always a tense time, and I got the big draw that I was after in playing the Martin Adams, the current World Champion.

The Lakeside stage is a special place to play, so playing Martin at The Lakeside will not only be a great honour but a dream come true for me.

My last couple of visits to Lakeside as a seed has added its own pressure, as the expectation to perform is very high.

In both of my matches to date I^ve been the favourite, which is totally opposite to how I will be perceived in this match.

It may sound crazy to want the Triple World Champion, but unlike the last 2 visits you know exactly what game you get from Martin and how well you have to play to win.

Naturally I’ll be going over my preparation from the last 2 visits, and seeing if I can gain any slight edge before I face Martin.

I literally can^t wait to get on stage and represent everyone who supports me, sponsors, family, village, friends and my county Team mates in Dorset.
