Deal for Darts match

The Canaries have agreed to play Dartford in a pre-season friendly as part of the deal that took striker Cody McDonald to Carrow Road last week.

The Ryman League club received an undisclosed fee for the 22-year-old, and City will take a team to Princes Park in July. The Darts will also receive a proportion of the transfer fee if McDonald leaves Norwich.

Dartford manager Tony Burman said: "We would^ve loved to have kept him but the joy of seeing one of your players become a professional outweighs those emotions.

"I think it^s an excellent place to end up. Norwich treated us like we were in the same division as them and in all the times we spoke it wasn^t about the money and more what was best for Cody."
