Darts News - YDP Update
In follow up to my last email Huntington WMC in York have now agreed to extend their venue sponsorship deal with YDP taking in sixteen events up to January 2015.
The York Open Darts Championship is now being extended to Ten Stages where the players best eight performances will count towards their Ranking Points in qualifying for the Grand Finals. This should attract more entrants to the event and in doing this we are looking at increasing the number of qualifiers for the Grand Finals to 64 players.
Huntington WMC are now hosting the 2014 YDP Darts/Fishing event in April which has been moved from August as this fits into the build up towards the new 2014 Match Fishing Season.
They are also hosting the 2014 York Darts League^s Players Men^s and Ladies Championships and have agreed to hold the 2015 YDP Masters Grand Finals.
