Week eight of the Sheldon and District Summer League brought together the top two teams in division one, leaders Iron Horse Flights hosting second placed Langley Hall Sports and Social Arrows, the outcome was a 5-3 win for the home side to put them on twelve points two more than their opponents who stay in second place but now only on average from third placed Castle Vale Residents whose 5-3 win over Mackadown Social gives them the same ten points as Langley.

Despite losing 6-2 at George V The Pirates hang on to second place with nine points but are now just one to the good on Sheldon Marlborough Arrows who have a game in hand.

Ridgemere Flights are top of division four and they were held to a surprising 4-4 draw away to Greville Arms who are just two places off the foot of the table, although they finished all square Ridgemere remain two points ahead of the rest of the field as second placed Meadway Sports and Social also had a 4-4 draw away to next to bottom of the division Langley Hall Sports and Social Flights.
