Darts: Mardle next in line for Jenkins

TERRY Jenkins takes on Wayne ‘Hawaii 501’ Mardle as he looks to continue his good start in the Whyte and Mackay Premier League Darts tomorrow night.

The Ledbury thrower, nicknamed the Bull, opened his campaign with a 7-7 draw against Dutchman Jelle Klaasen in a high-quality encounter last Thursday.

Next up for Jenkins is Mardle, who started with an 8-1 hammering at the hands of Mervyn King, at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre live on Sky Sports.

In the night’s other matches, Raymond van Barneveld faces John Part with the Dutchman looking to bounce back from an 8-4 defeat to world champion Phil Taylor.

Taylor takes on Klaasen and James Wade, who drew with Part last time out, tackles King.

Almost 4,000 fans are expected for the Premier League’s first visit to Edinburgh.
