The roly-poly star may seem an unlikely choice for his new role, but before developing an appetite for life on the oche (and a few pies), the Carlisle-based arrowsmith was a junior tennis champion - who dreamed of one day winning Wimbledon. ^As a teenager growing up in Surrey, I was a Champion tennis player and I know the game and what I am talking about. I might make a tennis comeback one day and if I do, look out Roger Federer is all I can say^, said Manley.

Never short of an opinion, the controversial star - who famously enters to a chorus of booing from darts fans - sparked from an incident when he walked off the stage in the 2002 World Championship darts final against Phil ^The Power^ Taylor, will be offering up his exclusive tips, starting at at the China Tennis Open in Shangahi on October 5th.

On the same weekend, Manley will be casting an expert eye on more familiar territory when he also previews the World Grand Prix Darts tournament in Ireland. ^As well as giving out my tennis tip, I will be revealing who I think will be the darts winner for the Grand Prix Darts.
