Since 2005 Steve has featured as a major force in every BDO event he's played, reaching numerous Finals and Semi Finals, and has not failed to be at The Lakeside World Pro's for the last 6 years. Steve won his won his first Open title, winning the Denmark Open, beating Holland's Niels de Ruiter in the semi-finals and then beat fellow Englishman James Wilson in the final, and then took the German Gold Cup title beating Andree Welge in the final. He then won the Finnish Open, beating local favourite and former Masters finalist Jarkko Komula in the semi-finals and then Norway's Robert Wagner in the final. Steve's darts have been made exactly to the specification that he uses and he described them as follows: "My darts look totally unique as they have a very different nose pattern that helps me power the darts in tot he board for close grouping. We've spent a lot of time getting these right and I've got to say I'm over the moon with the result. The colour is absolutely stunning and gives the dart a gorgeous feel and grip in my hand. I hope that you have as much fun throwing them as I do, thanks for looking them over". Steve West |
